SSG Sheet (TSSW spreadsheet).
Updated 17 Jul 2001

The SSG sheet contains sections 3, 4, and 5 of the NAIC Stock
Selection Guide. Most of the information from sections 1 and 2
can be found on the Quality sheet.

In section 3, outliers are marked by double clicking on an
appropriate cell (those outlined in yellow). P/E Outliers marked
here will also be marked on the Value sheet (and visa versa).

In section 4, the values for Avg. High P/E, Avg. Low P/E, and
Estimated Low EPS can be overridden by entering a value (or
formula) in the adjacent (colored) cell. To select among the 5
choices for Low Price, click on the radio buttons in the colored
area to the right. There is also a check box to choose 25%/50%/25%
zoning (instead of equal zones of 1/3rd each).

In section 5, the Average % Payout value can be overridden by
entering a value (or formula) in the adjacent (colored) cell.

The Estimated Average Annual Return (section 5C) is calculated
using the method of the manual SSG form. The Projected Average
Return (PAR) and Total Return, as computed by Toolkit, are also
shown.

The key SSG results (relative value, zoning range, US/DS ratio,
price target % appreciation, and estimated average annual return)
will appear in bold type when they meet the NAIC criteria
(respectively, between 90 and 110, Buy, 3 or greater, 100% or
greater, 15% or greater).
